the complete set, comprising twenty-one etchings, 1777-78, fine to very good impressions from the first Roman edition, on laid paper with a Double Encircled Fleur-de-Lys watermark (cf. Hind 3, Robison 36, noted in impressions of Vedute di Roma with Bouchard’s address and Piranesi’s address and price); together with five engravings from Statue antiche incise da Francesco Piranesi and one engraving by Andrea Rossi after Pietro Angeletti, bound in a contemporary vellum binding
