In late 2022, Patek Philippe unveiled a set of limited edition timepieces exclusively reserved for the Japanese market, in anticipation of the 2023 Watch Art Grand Exhibition in Tokyo. This pair of exquisite timepieces consist of the Calatrava References 6127G-010 and 7127G-010, and feature a newly designed Calatrava case with elegantly beveled two-tier lugs, inspired by the poetic silhouette of butterfly wings, and reminiscent of the iconic Reference 5270. The standout feature are undoubtedly the beautifully crafted polished lacquer dials in striking blue and lilac with color-matched alligator straps. The solid case backs bear the special inscription “Patek Philippe - Tokyo”, underlining the exclusive release for the Japanese market.
This special 'Tokyo Edition' is strictly limited to 400 pieces, with 300 examples sold as a set pair in a luxurious double presentation box and 100 pieces available individually (50 Ref. 6127G-010s and 50 Ref. 7127G-010s).
