The Rolex Reference 6263, along with the Reference 6265, were produced from the late 1960s until 1987, are differentiated by an acrylic bezel versus a metal bezel, and represent the final evolution of the manually-wound generation of Daytonas.
The present Reference 6263 is widely regarded as the most iconic and quintessential model in the Daytona family. It showcases all the features that made the Daytona a design masterpiece: a bezel with a black insert featuring a tachymeter scale, screw-down pushers, and the unmistakable Rolex Oyster case.
