Few contemporary independent watch projects so directly embrace a cultural narrative as the Khaleejuna Waheed Collection. Conceived by Perpétuel together with Hoffman Watches of New York, the series takes its name from the Arabic expression meaning "Our Gulf" and was created as a tribute to the history, identity and values shared across the Gulf region.

Rather than producing a single commemorative edition, the collaborators chose to dedicate an individual chronograph to each of the six Gulf Cooperation Council nations. Through distinctive colours, national emblems and carefully chosen Arabic inscriptions, the watches celebrate concepts such as unity, honour, peace, glory, safety and happiness, transforming a sporting chronograph into a medium for cultural expression.

The present lot is especially attractive as it assembles all six editions together as a matching-numbered set, each watch bearing the number 8. Opportunities to acquire the complete collection are exceedingly scarce, particularly in such a coherent configuration. Viewed collectively, the watches reveal the full scope of the project and the dialogue between the six nations they represent.

Preserved in exceptional, like-new condition throughout, the watches remain remarkably fresh and retain their strong visual appeal. Powered by manually wound chronograph movements and housed in stainless-steel cases, the collection offers far more than a simple variation in dial colours. It stands as a thoughtful and highly original interpretation of modern independent watchmaking, combining regional symbolism with contemporary design.

Presented as a complete matching-numbered set and maintained in virtually unworn condition, the present ensemble represents an uncommon opportunity for collectors seeking watches that tell a story beyond their mechanical function.
