From Atelier Wen's inaugural Perception series, the present example features a fish-scale guilloché pattern by Chinese guilloché master Cheng Yucai in the colour 霞 (xiá) or burning copper, alluding to the golden-red clouds in the sky right after sunset, a phenomenon mentioned in a story from the Songs of Chu, the ancient anthology of Chinese poetry. A distinctive geometric motif runs along the outer track, and discreet applied baton hour markers preserve the dial’s harmonious composition. The upper case back features an engraved guardian lion motif, and the lower sapphire crystal reveals the automatic Dandong SL1588 movement. Offered in excellent, like-new condition.
