A rare decorative version of the Tank Normale, the brancards of the case are filled with dark blue enamel. Examples of the Tank Normale with enamel banding to their brancards are scarce and had first made an appearance in the early 1920s. Adding bold accenting that accentuates the stretch of the brancards, the rich blue enamel also compliments the blued finish of the hands and the blue sapphire-set crown.
