Introduced in 2005 the 5959 features the in-house calibre CHR 27-525 PS, which was the world's thinnest column wheel split seconds chronograph at the time, only 5.25 mm in thickness. Around 80 watches with white dial and 50 with black dial were released. The present reference features a platinum officer style case, fitted with a white lacquered dial and black Breguet numerals. A button at 3 o'clock activates and resets the chronograph, while the button at 2 o'clock splits the hands, allowing multiple increments of time to be recorded. Sleek and elegant, it is the ultimate collector's watch and would make a statement piece in any watch collection. Seldom seen on the market, very few examples were ever produced. The present watch is further enhanced with its original accessories.
