One of the three pillars in F.P. Journe's early collection, the Octa Réserve de Marche is the first automatic wristwatch released by the brand. At the time of introduction, it had the largest power reserve among any wristwatch on the market, with over 120 hours at full wound. The present example features an early brass movement, which ceased production around 2004 in favour of the pink gold movement. Back in the days F.P. Journe used these rhodium-plated brass movements to reduce production cost, which in today's market becomes a rarity among collectors, now around only 2000 units left. The present example is fitted with a pink gold dial housed in a platinum case, movement finished with a round Côtes de Genève pattern. It makes a true connoisseur's piece on the wrist.
