The cream dial of the present watch, with its bold stretched Roman numerals and lack of minute track, is typical of the style often favoured by Cartier London during this period. This example is especially notable for the use of a dark blue rather than black paint for the numerals. Cartier London offered or customised dials with the option of red or blue numerals in place of black.
