The UR-105 CT is one of Urwerk's most recognisable creations, embodying the brand's futuristic approach to horology through its signature satellite wandering-hour display. Conceived by co-founders Felix Baumgartner and Martin Frei, the model draws inspiration from their early impressions of New York City, with its case recalling both the metallic ribbing of subway cars and the soaring Art Deco lines of iconic skyscrapers such as the Empire State Building.
Powered by the automatic calibre UR 5.03, the watch is equipped with Urwerk's patented twin-turbine winding regulation system, allowing the wearer to control the efficiency of the self-winding mechanism. Combining an innovative wandering-hour display, highly technical construction and a distinctive architectural design, the UR-105 CT stands as one of the defining references of contemporary independent watchmaking.
This watch was launched in 2017 which coincides with the brand's 20th anniversary.
