Extremely well preserved, the present watch immediately conveys a sense of exceptional quality. Its impressive 54 mm heavy gold case, exquisitely executed tinted white enamel dial with gold accents, and movement bearing the prestigious Poinçon de Genève together exemplify the finest traditions of Swiss watchmaking. Produced by the renowned firm of Haas Neveux, one of Switzerland's leading manufacturers of complicated timepieces, the watch displays outstanding attention to detail throughout. Particularly noteworthy is the beautifully crafted dial, featuring gilt five-minute numerals and gilt highlights to the subsidiary dials; the dial maker even skillfully extended the partially obscured 3 and 9 numerals onto the sloping inner edges of the subsidiary registers, preserving both balance and legibility. Rare among highly complicated watches, the present timepiece not only incorporates sophisticated functions but also meets the exacting standards required for the Poinçon de Genève, a distinction that attests to its exceptional precision, craftsmanship and overall quality.
