7½-inch enamel dial signed Louis Berthoud, and also signed Coteau below VI, the large circular movement with silk suspension, star-cut outside count wheel striking on a bell, signed on the backplate as the dial, the rectangular case with baluster gallery above glazed panels and boldly cast foliate mounts, on a later associated griotte marble plinth
