Pauillac, 1er Cru Classé
Excellent appearance, label very slightly wrinkled otherwise excellent appearance, packed in a non-original plain wooden case, lid replaced with cardboard; Excellente apparence, étiquette très légèrement froissée Autrement excellente apparence, conditionée dans une caisse en bois neutre non d'origine, couvercle remplacé par du carton
Label Artist: Georg Baselitz
Cabernet Sauvignon 78%, Cabernet Franc 14%, Merlot 8%. The Merlot was picked from 6 September and the Cabernet between 16 and 25 September, the earliest vintage at Mouton. In 2026, an incredibly rich, heathery nose, with cassis impact and breed - and all at 12.5%! On the palate, the sheer impact is extraordinary, welcoming and warm. So fresh, especially for such a hot year. Flavours of damsons and brambles. The magnums have a thicker, velvety feel in the mouth, but the sensual imprint is the same. Watch out for the mocha finish. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
