Excellent level and appearance; Excellent niveau et excellente apparence

In 2020, an immediate, massive blast of limes, greengages and intense breed on the nose. So rich and intoxicatingly flavourful on the palate, opulent and oozing buttery, limey fruit. Opens out like an orangery in the mouth. Utterly heavenly. We had it with crab on my birthday and it more than softened the blow of the passing of time! In 2023, just as wonderful and distinguished, only on this occasion with scallops and saffron.

Provenance:

DRC and other top Burgundy from a highly regarded sommelier who has directed prestigious wine programs in both the U.S. and Europe. These wines were acquired through allocations from the importers and distributors of these wines and stored in a home cellar in the countryside. We have enjoyed bottles from this collection over the years, and they display aromas and flavors consistent with strong examples of these wines.

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti et autres grands vins de Bourgogne provenant de la cave d’un sommelier de renom, ayant élaboré la carte des vins dans des établissements prestigieux aux États-Unis comme en Europe. Les vins ont été acquis par le biais d’allocations auprès des importateurs et distributeurs de ces domaines, puis conservés dans une cave privée à la campagne. Nous avons eu l’occasion de déguster plusieurs bouteilles issues de cette collection au fil des années, celles-ci présentant les caractéristiques aromatiques et gustatives attendues des meilleurs exemples de ces vins.
