So sweet, spicy and violetty. So intriguing. Wonderful leather finish. Like maraschino cherries in alcohol, always with that fine, refined texture. So succulent. Superb. In 2008, it is just sheer bliss, with all the silky sheen to it that we have come to expect. At almost 20 years old, it is a paradigm of perfect balance between the fruit, acidity and tannin, with seamless flavour and texture to die for - or, more to the point, to live for.
