Cabernet Sauvignon 50.6%, Merlot 42.2%, Cabernet Franc 5%, Petit Verdot 2.2%. The nose is very blackcurrant, with the Cabernet Sauvignon coming through, but on the palate it is very Merlot, all creamy glycerol. It really is a lovely mouthful, opening out in glorious fashion, very opulent, long and sweet. The best Carruades I have ever tasted. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
