This tremendous concentration of aromatics that was Trotanoy of the epoch. Sweet and meaty at the same time. Great heart and concentration to it, still with fresh acidity. Phenomenally spicy and then that Trotanoy chocolate that seems to be there in extreme youth, as in en primeur tastings, and which is also present after decades of bottle age. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
