Publisher's black cloth, gold printed labels to upper cover and spine, fore-edge untrimmed; gold printed label to spine vertically creased, some offsetting with remnants of tape to front free endpaper, upper pastedown, and front flap of dust jacket, lower pastedown split near gutter. Original pictorial dust jacket priced "$2.50" and with misspelled "Katharine Barclay" on front flap; jacket splitting at lower fold, toned at extremities, spine lightly sunned, chipped at head and foot with some loss to corners. Housed in a custom clamshell case.
