Larry Pristo, Martelé 950-1000 Fine Gorham's Nouveau Art Silver, 2002, p. 176

According to Gorham's Martelé archives, this vase was completed March 18, 1898 and had a net factory price of $140. Neither the maker nor chaser is listed, but the records indicate it took 35 hours to make and 57 hours to chase. The notes indicate it originally had gilding, possibly to the interior.
