circular, the lid applied with a micromosaic plaque representing a mallard drake and a duckling paddling amongst reeds and rockery on a pond, against a duck egg blue background, within a slender dark blue and red tesserae frame and a chased gold tongue-and-dart border, the sides with matching decoration, apparently unmarked
