Circular with waisted sides, the lid applied with a micromosaic plaque representing two quails, one picking at a snail coiled near a straw basket, in a riverscape with shrubs and wheat, against dark blue background, within red and white tesserae border, mounted in a polished gold frame, the lid of the gold lined interior later engraved with a presentation inscription reading: ‘En mémoire du / Comté Simon Woronzow / le 21 juin 1832’, apparently unmarked,
