Description
Serial #B1297. Double-cutaway body featuring red, white, and black “Frankenstein” style stripes. Neck with black dot inlays, headstock featuring red and white “Frankenstein” stripes and Kramer logo in white. “#1 Edward Van Halen Model” printed in white Gothic-style text to reverse of headstock. Neck pickup in place, with bridge pickup and middle pickup wired together. 1 black tone control knob, black pickguard with worn finish, and silver tremolo. Guitar finish exhibits extensive wear and soiling from use.
Inscribed on the body by Eddie Van Halen to Rudy Leiren, his guitar technician in the 1980’s: “Rude - Its Been a Great Ten Years – Lets Do Another Ten. Eddie Van Halen” in black Sharpie ink.
