Description

the outwardly scrolling armrests carved with a rosette and trailing foliate, the cabriole front legs with C-scroll carving centred by cabochons and terminating in conformingly carved feet, the back legs with similar carving to the external face of the knees and terminating in trefid feet, all on castors, covered with close-nailed upholstery in chartreuse silk damask and with four square scatter cushions, with an illegible inscription to the rail apparently from the eighteenth century, en suite with the previous lot
