The Vacheron Constantin Historiques American 1921 is a retro interpretation of an iconic driver watch which Vacheron Constantin had initially developed in 1919. The layout of the dial was specifically made so that it was possible to read time while keeping your hands on the steering wheel. This remarkable art-deco styled design has remained popular among collectors over the years and remains as one of the most beautiful and unusual timepieces of Vacheron Constantin’s collection.
The present model also retains that American 1921 crown between the one and two o’clock position, manually wound to power the movement. This watch is designed as a modern iteration of a vintage style and function, adapting it to modern quality while leaving appreciation for the Roaring Twenties fashion.
