The Audemars Piguet automatic perpetual calendar reference 25661 was introduced in 1985 and was available until 1994. The particularity of this model was its sapphire display back with decorated rotor.
During its lifetime, it was produced at only 342 examples, the vast majority of them were in yellow gold. Only a fraction of the production, 37 pieces were cased in platinum, making the present lot a very rare gem.
This watch is adorned with a superb white dial with contrasting black Breguet numbers providing a stunning elegance to the timepiece.
