Rolex has always has always been best in class when it came to producing strong reliable timepieces that could be used in most extreme situations. This has led to the brand providing watches for several armed force. Most notably the British Navy, but also many others including the Peruvian Air Force.
The watches made for the Peruvian Air Force have three distinguishable caracteristics: the first is the inscription 'Fuerza Aerea Del Peru', the second is a very thin military issue number on the lower part of the caseback and the last is the case number inscribed on the inside of the case back.
The present lot is not only impressive because of its rarity, but also the condition in which it is offered. It presents some sharp edges and retains its original proportions.
