Description
Set with a cut-cornered rectangular modified brilliant-cut fancy vivid purplish pink diamond weighing 1.26 carats, encircled with brilliant-cut diamonds of pink tint, decorated with half moon-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum, signed Calleija, size 5½.
Accompany by GIA report no. 2205067038, dated 8 March 2019, stating that the diamond is Fancy Vivid Purplish Pink, Natural Colour, SI2 Clarity.
Further accompanied by an authenticity document from Argyle Pink Diamonds. Further accompanied by a certificate from Argyle Pink Diamonds and accompanying book confirming it was lot 28 in the Argyle Pink Diamonds Tender in 2019.

The diamond in this lot was acquired as lot 28 from the 2019 Argyle Pink Diamonds Tender in New York City and the ring was personally designed by John Calleija. It is one of only 15 GIA-graded Fancy Vivid Purplish Pink radiant-cuts over one carat to have been sold in the Argyle Pink Diamonds Signature Tender. With the closure of the Argyle mine, diamonds of this calibre have become extraordinarily rare—this is a once-in-a-lifetime creation that can never be repeated.
