From the 2 hectare (14,000 bottles) Asili vineyard and the Riserva is only made in excellent years. Violets and wild herbs nose. This has all the finesse of a great Barbaresco, the element that differentiates it from Barolo. Drink from 2008, if you can resist it now. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
