The ref. 116710 represents the final generation of the GMT-Master II before the introduction of the contemporary steel reference 126710 in 2018. Launched in 2007 as the successor to the 16710, the 116710 notably included both an all-black variation and the now-famous blue and black “Batman” bezel. Upon release, it was highly regarded for its technical and aesthetic advancements, featuring a Triplock crown, anti-reflective Cyclops lens, colored 24-hour hand, maxi dial, ceramic bezel, and an updated bracelet and movement.
