Nicknamed the “Hulk” for its striking green dial and matching green Cerachrom bezel, the Rolex Submariner reference 116610LV stands as one of the most iconic modern Submariners. Introduced in 2010 to mark the 60th anniversary of the model, the 116610LV replaced the earlier anniversary edition, the "Kermit" (ref. 16610LV), which had been launched in 2003.

While retaining the classic 40 mm diameter, the Hulk introduced several significant design updates, including Rolex’s patented scratch- and fade-resistant green ceramic bezel—used for the first time in this color on a Submariner. It also debuted the broader and more robust “Super Case,” enhancing wrist presence without increasing actual diameter. The upgraded Oyster bracelet, now with solid links, was paired with the innovative Glidelock clasp system, allowing for seamless and precise sizing adjustments.

With its bold green colorway, durable construction, and short production span from 2010 to 2020, the Hulk quickly gained cult status among collectors.

The present example is practically unworn and offered with many of its factory stickers, its original box and papers, making it a complete and compelling addition to any serious Rolex collection.
