Dial: silvered dial, Roman numeral, subsidiary dials for up-and-down indication for 56-hours and constant seconds, signed Charles Frodsham, 84 Strand, London, No. 3539 with royal warrants


Case: two-tier Brazilian rosewood box, fitted with a maker's plaque, brass shield, top insert with a lacquered brass cartouche and monogram, lacquered brass handles and lacquered brass bowl
