Description
The mesh band bracelet decorated with cabochon amethysts, mounted in silver, length approximately 185mm, signed Fahrner, maker’s mark for Theodor Fahrner; and ring centring a brilliant-cut diamond, decorated with rose-cut diamonds, mounted in18 karat yellow and white gold, size 6¼.
Theodor Fahrner (1859–1919) was an innovative German jeweller and steel engraver from Pforzheim, renowned for his innovative Art Nouveau and Art Deco designs. He was one of the first manufacturers in Germany to embrace Art Nouveau and commissioned artists to create modern jewellery designs, including Joseph Maria Olbrich. After his death, Gustav Braendle continued the legacy under the FAHRNER-SCHMUCK brand.
