depicting the warrior prince in full armor, astride a horse, his sword and shield tucked behind him, on a rectangular base, inscribed S. Orlov in Cyrillic, 1960, also with presentation inscription in Cyrillic dated 25 May 1962 "to the workforce of the Prague institute of haematology and blood transfusion on the day of the 10th anniversary from the workforce of the central institute of blood transfusion, USSR," the side inscribed Leningrad, monumentsculptura 1960 in Cyrillic,

The present lot is a reduction of Sergei Orlov's bronze monument to Yuri Dolgorukii erected in 1954 in front of the Moscow municipality on Tverskaya Street, in the city center.
