Tomatin Cask of Single Malt 2014


  • A cask of Tomatin Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, distilled on the 4th of April 2014 and filled into a 1st fill bourbon cask.


  • Tomatin Distillery do not sell casks directly to private individuals, nor do they make them available through the brokerage market. As such, this offering is exceptionally rare.


  • This was one of the final casks selected by Master Distiller Graham Eunson, who retired from Tomatin in May 2025.

Lying with the donor. In Bond Only.


Cask can be stored at the Tomatin Distillery free of charge until the 31st of December 2028. Thereafter the cask is to remain at Tomatin at a cost of £0.42 per week until such time as the client wishes to bottle it. The cask will be covered under the donor’s insurance whilst it is warehoused at Tomatin. The cask will be bottled free of charge by Tomatin at a time of the winning bidder's request. The winning bidder is responsible for providing the donor with their dry goods or can opt to use the donor's packaging free of charge. The cask cannot be transferred to another buyer.


The sale of the Property will be conducted in accordance with Sotheby’s Conditions of Business for Buyers applicable to the sale, which are available on Sotheby’s website, sothebys.com. In addition, the sale of cask whisky will be subject to the Terms of Service of the relevant distillery in relation to the storage, bottling and delivery of the whisky to the buyer for which additional fees will apply. In the event of any inconsistency between the Terms of Service and Sotheby’s Conditions of Business, the Terms of Service will prevail in relation to the transfer of risk, storage, insurance and release of the purchased lot to the buyer. If the sale of any lot of Property is subject to any further terms, such terms will be published on Sotheby’s website, sothebys.com.


By bidding on the Property you accept and agree to be bound by Sotheby’s Conditions of Business for Buyers and, where applicable, the Terms of Service and/or any additional terms that may apply to the sale of a lot. The buyers of the cask whisky agree to provide a signed version of the Terms of Service applicable to the purchased lot immediately after the sale.
