the fine curved watered-steel blade with wavy edge, the steel hilt of baluster form with faceted grip, decorated in gold overlay with floral sprays enclosed within dot bordered cartouches, chiselled palmette to forte, swan-neck knuckle guard with Gurmukhi inscription to interior bordered by chevron bands, bud quillons, the disc pommel with bud terminal
