octagonal, decorated with terms and silver ajouré plaques, centered with medallions comprising relies and applied for one pair the coat-of-arms of the Conti family, on the other the initial M , a label on the back of one inscribed "Paire de reliquaires portatifs ayant appartenu à madame la Princesse de Conti, (...) douairière de France / à Louise"

These reliquaries are illustrated in J. Wilhelm, C. Frégnac, Belles demeures de France, 16e - 19e siècle, Paris, 1977, p. 101 (ill.)
The label refers to a Dowager Princess de Conti, Louise, probably for Louise-Elisabeth de Bourbon-Condé (1693-1775), who also married her cousin Louis-Armand de Bourbon-Conti. Widowed at the age of 21, she enjoyed the pleasures of court life at Versailles.
