Apollo 17, the final mission in NASA’s Apollo program, remains the most recent crewed Moon landing. Harrison Schmitt, alongside Commander Gene Cernan, conducted three EVAs on the lunar surface, which, combined, set the record for the longest time spent on lunar surface EVAs.
