Apollo 10 was the second crewed mission to the Moon, meant to function as a “dress rehearsal” for the Apollo 11 moon landing that would occur just two months later. The crew of Apollo 10 became the second set of astronauts to witness an Earthrise in person, one of the most iconic subjects in the history of photography.
