Displayed at Deichtorhallen Hamburg, Tom Sachs's SPACE PROGRAM: RARE EARTHS serves as the fourth installment in his exploration beyond conventional Earthly boundaries. Within this exhibition, Sachs's astronauts embark on a mission to VESTA, Earth's closest and brightest asteroid, aiming to extract rare minerals crucial for sustaining our planet's technology addiction. Recipients of the kit featured in this lot were integral members of Sachs's team.

The highlight of this collection are the NikeCraft Mars Yard 2.5 sneakers, a prized rarity highly sought-after in the market, and seldom available. With a similar aesthetic to previous NikeCraft Mars Yard models, this pair distinguishes itself with the addition of a black rubber toe cap, ensuring immediate recognition among its predecessors .
