Presented in this lot is the match‑point ball used in the 2026 US Quarterfinals match featuring Frances Tiafoe v. Alex Michelsen at Arthur Ashe Stadium on September 8, 2026. 

Tiafoe defeated Michelsen in 5 sets with a final score of 5-7, 3-6, 7-5, 6-3, 7-6 (10-6). Despite losing the first two sets and going down 5-4 in the 3rd set, Tiafoe managed to stage a brilliant comeback to take down Michelsen. Slowly but surely, Tiafoe began to win point after point, in a match that lasted 4 and a half hours. The match ended in a hard fought match tie break in which Tiafoe pulled away winning 10-6. This ball was the decisive shot that sealed the match and secured the win for Tiafoe. The win set up an All-American Semifinal with Ben Shelton.
