The Modern & Contemporary Discoveries including Prints & Multiples auction in June will celebrate a unique combination of joined forces between the Prints & Multiples and the Modern & Contemporary Art Department in Cologne. The sale will feature the finest artistic creations across a curated range of periods, movements, and media, from Modern art breakthroughs to today's most avant-garde conceptions. The auction will include an exceptional lineup of woodcuts, linocuts, etchings, and more, presenting important editions by notable printmakers including Conrad Felixmüller, Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, Josef Albers, Getulio Alviani, Joseph Beuys and Gerhard Richter, among others. Further, the sale will showcase over a century of notable paintings, important drawings, and outstanding sculptures by pioneering modernists such as Alexej von Jawlensky, Georg Kolbe and Emil Nolde being brought together with sought after contemporary artists such as Franz West, Markus Lüpertz, Heinz Mack and Albert Oehlen.
