Franck Muller launched their branded rendition of the minute repeater complication, integrated into a watchmaking name that was relatively new to the market in the early 1990s. The present Franck Muller wristwatch is a Répétition Minute which adapts the trailblazing minute repeater mechanism for the independent contemporary watchmaker. The watch features a two-toned dial with a silver outline and heat-blued hands and numerals which are driven by a skillfully crafted mechanical movement, topped by a plain dial design and maintaining a more classic appearance amongst Franck Muller’s avant-garde watches. A slider is built into the side of the platinum case setting of the minute repeater complication into a chiming sequence which signals the time. This mechanism is also represented by an indicator in the lower half of the dial which displays the minute repeating reserve.
