Description

The brown enamelled dachshund seated on a pillow pavé-set with circular-cut sapphires, the collar accented by single-cut diamonds, unsigned, maker’s marks for Robert Davière, French maker’s assay marks for gold, case partially stamped René Boivin.


Accompanied by René Boivin certificate of authenticity no. 202404PRI, dated 15 April 2024, stating that the jewel was created circa 1955 after a drawing by Juliette Moutard.

The dachshund represents the dog of the original commissioner of this brooch.
