Levels into the neck, scuffed and nicked labels
Almost cooking cherries and a touch of kirsch on the nose. Very deep fruit. The depth of black cherries on the palate, plus toast and gingerbread, is incredible. A finish of the blackest liquorice. Tannin, acidity and all-spice. Great with venison and the accompanying bilberry, or cranberry, jelly. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
