The 25721 was first introduced in 1993, marking the debut of the Offshore collection. Originally presented in stainless steel and later on in titanium, as well as, in yellow gold, the model was nicknamed the Beast by collectors for its impressive proportions.
Only a few people know that the watch was also made in white gold. Upon initial inspection, the watch appears nearly identical to the steel version, except for the inclusion of eight diamonds replacing the hour markers and a slightly more radiant sheen of the metal. However, once worn on the wrist, the watch reveals its notable distinction, weighing in at 410 grams.
According to Audemars Piguet, only 21 examples of the Royal Oak Offshore in white gold were sold between 1996 and 2003. Sales from 1996 to 2003: a total of 21 units, of which 9 (1996), 3 (1997), 2 (1998), 4 (1999), 2 (2001) and 1 (2003).
The present example, numbered 008, is absolutely fresh to the market and was consigned by the family of the original owner.
It represents an extremely rare opportunity to acquire one of the most impressive, collectible, rare and heavy timepiece ever created by Audemars Piguet.
