The Reference 16613 was launched in 1988 as a successor of the 16803. The watch was part of the Rolex catalogue for about 20 years, available in two colours configuration for the dial and the bezel: black or blue, like the present example.

This piece is an attractive example of the evolution of the model. It is fitted with its matching tritium dial, the case does not display lug holes and the rehaut is not engraved. The appeal of his neovintage piece is further boosted by its overall condition and its caseback still bearing its protective sticker.
