Launched in 2014, the Nautilus reference 5990 represents the first instance of this iconic collection, to combine a dual time zone display alongside a chronograph. Incorporating the two functions together means a movement has to be redeveloped with the case, but thanks to the octagonal shape of the Nautilus, the chronograph buttons can be seamlessly exhibited on the right side of the case, while the dual time pushers reside on the left.
With a black ribbed dial and a well balanced layout, the reference 5990 marks another elegant addition to this sporty collection, paving a new era for the history of Nautilus.
The present watch comes with its certificate of origin and would be a most exciting addition to any serious collection.
