The Huitième, French for eighth, was the exclusive line of Audemars Piguet in the 1980’s and 1990’s. This 14593 has a 40mm stainless steel case diameter, which was considered as oversized at the time and makes it perfect to be enjoyed in today’s standards. It is powered by the automatic 2125 calibre based on the JLC calibre 889, which has rightly been considered as a very high quality movement, further elevating the present lot.
