finely chased, engraved and repoussé with a hunting scene, one huntsman on horseback riding alongside two hounds, the other standing by his horse with two further hounds on leashes, the hinged cover with a seated huntsman finial, the base engraved with an inscription around the base reading 'третъяковы савве морозову на доврую намять ' (trans.: Tretyakovs to Savva Morozov, in fond memory'), the upper border above the hunting scene with openwork, struck throughout with maker's initials in Cyrillic, 84 standard
