rectangular with cut corners, the lid set with a square enamel plaque painted with Themis giving water to a young child, flanked by taille d'epargne leaf borders on pale blue ground, framed by a later chased scrollwork border, dark blue enamel sides, the zig-zag engine-turned base formerly enamelled,
